All Pro Web has available a revolutionary new technology, the "virtual server". A virtual server is created when you divide a single computer into multiple, "virtual" machines. Each virtual machine has its own unique domain name and properties. (ie: "yourcompany.com") and performs much like a dedicated server. The VDS technology uniquely 'slices' or 'partitions' the physical server into multiple isolated servers within a single machine. Unlike shared hosting, the technology completely isolates each VDS, or 'slice' in it's own memory, disk space, cpu resources, and network space. Just like a dedicated server, each VDS has it's own independent operating system with isolated instances of Apache (web server), Sendmail (mail server) and all installed software. A crashed application (Apache, Sendmail, MySQL etc.) in another customer's VDS has no effect on your VDS.

If one account uses up all the resources, all of the other accounts on the server will suffer.	Virtual Dedicated Servers VDS Technology divides up the disk space, resources and network space. Each VDS has it's own operating system. If a VDS on the same physical server crashes it will not affect any of the other accounts on the server.
